A Tribue to the Class of 2008

By Connect Mason Sports Director Damien Sordelett

Four years ago, four high school graduates moved into the Student Apartments. Their collective goals were to achieve things that had never been done at George Mason University.

Four years later and just days removed from walking across a stage in the arena where memories were made before thousands of fans, one thing can be said for certain.

So, at the last minute I ended up getting GTA4. Early on Tuesday, I picked up the last unreserved copy at the local GameStop. Now my mission is to review the game. Of course, with a sandbox-world game like GTA4, this gets a little complicated.

There are two routes. In the first I play through the game as quickly as possible, eschewing side quests and mini-games in a hunt for the spinal story of the game.

Earth Week: Botanical Tours

By Broadside Staff Writer Tina Miller

Each day, students walk to and from cars to classes, without even knowing that George Mason University’s Fairfax campus is its own botanical garden.

To educate students in the diverse plant life of their campus, environmental science and policy assistant professor Andrea Weeks took students on an hour long botanical garden tour, which began at the George Mason University Herbarium in the basement of Krug Hall.
