[COLUMN] Now is the perfect time for CAA to change location of men's basketball tournament

For twenty-two years, Richmond, Va. and the Richmond Coliseum have been home to the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament held each year in early March. But, with Virginia Commonwealth leaving the conference for the Atlantic 10, the future of the tournament in Virginia's capital is up in the air.
Governor Romney will visit Mason on Monday
|UPDATE: Monday's rally will be held at the Patriot Center, not at the RAC.
Governor Mitt Romney will hold a "Victory Rally" on Monday, Nov. 5 at the Patriot Center at George Mason University.
Doors will open at 12:45 p.m. and the event will begin at 2:45 p.m.

Student Health Services provides students with flu shot
|Flu season has begun, and Student Health Services is making it easier to get vaccinated.
SHS held a flu shot clinic Thursday, Nov. 1 in the Johnson Center. This was the second flu shot clinic this year that was held outside of Sub I, SHS’s regular location.
Every flu season, SHS holds three to five flu shot clinics outside of Sub I as needed, according to Rachel Noble Benner, Case Manager and Special Projects Coordinator for Student Health Services. Past clinics have been held in the JC, Dewberry, and the Hub.
Provost Stearns discusses raises in tuition costs
|In a recent blog post, Provost Peter Stearns explained the reason for increases in tuition at George Mason University.
After a friend of the university mentioned to him that rising tuition costs could be a result of the school’s fiscal irresponsibility, Stearns researched the issue to check the validity of these claims.

|It's hard to gauge how well a team will perform throughout a full season based on one exhibition game against a team that plays in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Although the experienced Bowie State Bulldogs gave the Patriots all they could muster Thursday night in a close 76-72 contest, only so much can truly be taken away from the outcome and the contents of the exhibition.
