Festival Season
|Whether it is Coachella, Bonaroo or the Chilli Cookoff, it is hard to ignore the festival craze. With great music, great food and great art, it is mainly the freedom of self expression that attracts free spirits everywhere to these magical lands where style is the headliner.
Whether you are a flower child, an edgy rocker, or have a bohemian flair, festival season is THE place to showcase your eclectic style or your alternate ego.
First Annual Gmu Fashion Week
|Attention ladies and fashion lovers everywhere:
The Fashion Society here at Mason is hosting the first annual GMU Fashion Week!
Starting March 25th-28th , they've set up a ton of fashion-filled events both on and off campus! From a networking party filled with bloggers, photographers and potential employers, to a fashion flash mob. These events will surely satisfy any fashion enthusiast's senses.
Although most people look at New York, London and Paris for fashion, I believe that the best fashion is oftentimes found in the streets. So why not begin here at our beloved Mason campus?

This season, New York Fashion Week was characterized by not only some of the brightest colors in the spectrum, but also the return of classic colors such as black and white. Designers from Oscar de la Renta to Monique Lhuilier featured beautiful and colorful designs which proved to us all that color shouldn't only be worn in the summer, but to be enjoyed all year long.
Kate Spade New York
Always playful and whimsical, the Kate Spade New York collection featured lady-like pieces, but with its own twist: color and polka-dots! My favorite? The donut sweater.
