Last Minute Entertainment Before Finals

By Connect2Mason Information Director Miguel Perez

Looking for some entertainment before your final exams? The Program Board has something for everyone this week.

Movies

Tomorrow, the Johnson Center will be playing American Teen, a documentary focusing on the lives of five graduating seniors. The film follows seniors at Warsaw Community High school who fit the classic nerd, jock, loner, princess stereotypes for a year. The film will be shown at 6 p.m. and at 9 p.m.

If comedies are more to your liking, then you’ll have the chance to view House Bunny three times this weekend. House Bunny is a romantic comedy by the Legally Blonde writers about a Playboy Bunny who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion for being too old and becomes a sorority house mother. The story follows the bunny’s attempts to help the socially awkward Zeta Alpha Zeta sorority in UCLA. Showings are Friday at 6:00, 9:00, and 12:00 p.m, Saturday at 6:00 and 9:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Admission is free with valid student ID, $1 admission charge for faculty/staff, $3 charge to general public. For more information, visit the Program Board Film Committee by clicking here (http://pb.gmu.edu/film/)

Every Freaking Friday

This week’s Every Freaking Friday features Indie rock singer-songwriter Tyler Hilton. Rolling Stone has compared him to Howie Day and has appeared in One Tree Hill and Walk the Line. Free pizza served. The show will take place 9 p.m. at the Johnson Center Atrium.
