Free Waffles Mar. 23
By Connect2Mason Breaking News Director Matt Todd
The 3rd Annual Top That! - Waffle Day 2009, originally scheduled for Mar. 2, has now been moved to Mar. 23. Waffle Day was supposed to have taken place this past Monday but was cancelled due to inclement weather.
According to Mecca Marsh, Associate Director of Training and Programs, on Monday the 23rd, the Johnson Center will host the event from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Dewberry Hall and is sponsored by Student Centers in conjunction with Orientation and Family Programs Services, LEAD Office and The Freshman Center.
Waffle Day is an event that allows faculty and staff to interact with Mason students and is open to the university public. On top of free waffles served with a variety of toppings, there will also be games, prizes, as well as sing-alongs.
Here's another chance to take advantage of this opportunity and hope for no significant snowfalls on that day as well.
