Deeds is only the latest politician to appear at Mason. The university's proximity to Washington D.C. and position in politically volatile Northern Virginia has drawn speakers such as Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton, John Kerry and numerous local and state politicians.

If you spot a Mason celebrity on campus, let us know! Send pictures to SPOTTED at C2Mpictures@gmail.com.
