Your Thoughts: Pedestrian Safety at Mason
UPDATED 12:47 p.m. related video of accident reconstruction
In light of the recent pedestrian accident that left George Mason University student Michelle Dawson severely injured, C2M asked students, staff and the greater Mason community how safe they felt the Fairfax campus is for pedestrians.
Here are a few of their thoughts.

MORE VIDEO: The portion of Patriot Circle in which Dawson was struck by a vehicle while walking in a pedestrian crosswalk was closed off Monday, April 26 at approximately 9 p.m. for what appears to have been a reconstruction of the accident.
When asked about the reconstruction, the Mason Police Department told Connect2Mason that they were no longer commenting on the accident involving Michelle Dawson or the investigation.
As Broadside reported in its May 3 issue, Dawson was recently moved to a local rehabilitation center.
C2M was directed to university Press Secretary Dan Walsch for its video interview on general pedestrian safety.
The below video, captured by C2M's Jonathan Smith, is the first reconstruction.
This video is the third reconstruction. The second appeared to have been scrapped.
