What are you thankful for? [WHO WON]

Votes are in and tallied, and the winning photo in the 2010 What Are You Thankful For? Photo Contest is "Freedom."

The photo belongs to Jennifer Crewalk, Hispanic/Latino Affairs assistant director and STEP coordinator for Diversity Programs and Services.

Crewalk’s charity of choice is the Annunciation House, a Catholic organization aided by and serving those of all religious affiliations. The charity works to raise awareness for immigrant rights and to help vulnerable groups of immigrants in their travels. Currently, the Annunciation House is especially focused on helping those fleeing the recent violence in Mexico.

The mother of the child in the winning photo worked at the Annunciation House for one year and remembers it as a remarkable and life-changing experience. For more information about the Annunciation House or to donate, click here.
