Deck the U-Haul event collects items for charity

The Chi Omega and Delta Chi fraternities teamed up to collect items such as food, clothing and toys for charity  this week. C2M's Alicia Thayer who was on location for the event, filmed and edited the above video. (Alicia Thayer).

With holiday spirit in mind, Chi Omega and Delta Chi fraternities hosted their Deck the U-Haul philanthropy event this week.

The event which began on Thursday and continued until Friday afternoon, collected gently used clothing, toys, canned foods and monetary donations for charity. All donations were packed up in a rented U-Haul and then sent to Our Neighbor’s Child, a Fairfax-based charity that provides holiday gifts for low-income families.
