Born to a librarian and a newspaper editor, Jill Carter has been a book lover all of her life. While she has written book reviews for her personal blog, this is Jill's first book review blog. Even though she is a huge fan of memoirs and non-fiction, Jill regards the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling and Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury as her favorite books. Jill is a sophomore from Williamsburg, Va, majoring in government and international politics. In addition to writing for "Off the Shelf," Jill is co-Deputy News Editor for Connect2Mason.
