Washington Post Finds Fault in Clinton's Ohio Facts

News from the Political Frontline

Senator Clinton announced last Tuesday after winning Ohio, "No person has ever won the White House without winning the Ohio primary, in either party..."

Not as true as she would like to believe.

The Washington Post today ran a section of Michael Dobb's "The Fact Checker" political column in their print edition today. In his piece 'As Ohio Goes, So Goes The Nation. Sometimes.', Dobbs passes on the fact that John F. Kennedy, a figure that Senator Obama has been compared to numerous times (as well as Robert F. Kennedy), won the Presidency in 1960 without taking the Ohio Primary.

Senator Clinton has been accused of overconfidence at numerous turns in this Primary Season. Again it appears that the Former First Lady may be believing the hype her own staff creates.

Only time will tell if the momentum she gained with her wins this past Tuesday will continue.
