Letter from the Editor: Winter break coverage

It’s been a busy and exciting first semester at Fourth Estate. We have covered a wide range of stories, including the changing relationship between Fairfax and Mason, efforts to provide health benefits for LGBTQ faculty, and the ongoing conversation about the university strategic plan. 

As we close out the semester, I would like to let you know that Fourth Estate will be taking a break from writing stories, taking photos and shooting videos as we end the semester. We will not be posting regular content except in the case of breaking news. However, our Sports Editor Kristi Anable will be updating our Mason Hoops Central blog on the Mason men’s basketball team. They will be writing previews and recaps of the games and providing analysis on the team. If you’re not already following @FourthEstSports on Twitter, I encourage you to do so!

We have some exciting projects planned for next semester, including student blogs and expanded multi-media coverage.
