Connect2Mason is looking to fill positions for the spring. We're looking for motivated, creative and funny folks to fill roles for paid, academic credit and volunteer-based experience.

Early graduates look to the future

In the fall of 2007, Deena Smith was just starting out as a George Mason University freshman. Just three years later, thanks to extra college credits she obtained while in a dual enrollment program in high school, Smith is now working toward a Master’s degree in social work at Howard University.

Smith, who graduated from Mason last spring with a BA in psychology, is one of a small number of Mason students who completed their academic careers in less than four years.

Men’s Basketball rolls past Liberty on the road, 84-54

In their first true road contest of the season, the Men’s Patriots (8-2) put on an electrifying performance, routing the Liberty Flames (6-5), 84-54, to improve their winning streak to six games.

An agreement for GMU professor arrested for alleged child pornography possession still pending

An agreement has yet to be reached in the child pornography case involving part-time Italian language professor, Diego Fasolini, the GW Hatchet reported.

“Nothing has been agreed to at this point,” Moore was quoted as having said by the GW Hatchet. “We’ll see what happens.”
