Celebrating Black History Month through music
|Mason’s Potomac Arts Academy will honor black history and culture with “A Celebration of Black History Month: A Musical Journey of Hope and Fear” this weekend.
The event will take place Saturday at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on Mason’s Prince William Campus. The concert will begin at 11 a.m. and Admission is $10 for general admission.
Students experience Chinese culture at lantern festival

Students celebrated the annual Chinese Lantern Festival yesterday with an array of festivities including games and traditional Chinese foods. The event was held for the third year and was co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity Programs and Services.
Women's hoops defeats Delaware, 67-56

The Mason Women Patriots (12-13, CAA 6-8) swept the regular season series with the Delaware Blue Hens (15-10, 8-6), winning 67-56 Thursday night in the Patriot Center.

Konrad Meier, executive chef at the Mason Inn’s Boxwoods restaurant, has taken a leave of absence following his Feb. 3 arrest for allegedly being drunk in public.
