George's closes doors for lunch, opens for events

Deadline extended for study abroad photo contest

If you've got a photo from a recent study abroad trip, you've got more time to enter in our joint photo contest with the Center for Global Education. The contest's deadline has been extended to Friday, February 25 at midnight.

To be clear, that's 12 a.m. Saturday.

Women Patriots' comeback thwarted by Towson, fall 59-53

The George Mason Women’s Basketball team (12-14, 6-9) fell to Towson (9-17, 3-12) 59-53 Sunday afternoon at the Patriot Center. Towson has now won seven straight against the Patriots dating back to the 2006-07 season.

Both teams struggled to open the game, as only 15 combined points were scored nearly halfway through the first half.

Patriots extend nation's longest win streak to 13 games with victory over Northern Iowa

'Dancing with the Patriots' to premiere Monday

Grab your remote and prime your dancing shoes. The reality dancing program 'Dancing with the Patriots' begins its four-episode run Monday on the Mason Cable Network. 

Metro delays this weekend

Beginning at 10 p.m. tonight and continuing through Monday night, Metro riders will experience delays on the Orange, Blue and Red lines. Metro’s maintenance work will close the Federal Triangle and Smithsonian stations and mean track sharing on parts of the Red line.
