Spring semester schedule under review for future

This semester students began school a week later in January than in the spring 2010 semester and will subsequently get out a week later in May.

The George Mason University faculty senate met today and announced they will discuss whether the current spring schedule should be changed in the future.

According to Senator Janette Muir, the Academic Policies Committee will take up the issue of recommending a new schedule.

“Some faculty [were] concerned about wasted time in January,” Muir said.
