Second annual GBay auction draws Mason community

The student-run silent and live auction Gbay held its second annual auction yesterday evening in the Johnson Center.
Items available to bid on ranged from restaurant gift cards to a copy of A Shore Thing, autographed by Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi which sold for $105.
Student Government members comment on outreach event's progress, success

Student Government hosted another installment of their monthly What Do You Want Wednesdays this week. What Do You Want Wednesdays is a SG initiative aimed at increasing communication between students and SG.
C2M's George Yanez was on the scene and spoke with SG senators on what has come out of this initiative since its implementation last semester.
Workers' rights activists return to Plaza to protest Sodexo
|A small group of George Mason University students took to the North Plaza on Thursday to protest food service provider Sodexo’s allegedly abusive workplace practices.
Mason was the site of several large-scale student and worker protests last spring and fall.
The protesters, about 10 of whom carried signs and passed out fliers, represented Students for Workers’ Rights (SWR), a group which the university does not officially recognize as a student organization.
Mason fighting illegal downloads
|The George Mason University’s Copyright Resources Office is fighting an ongoing battle against illegal downloading on campus. The office uses internet bots to locate students who download from piracy websites through Mason computers and networks.
