The Patriots completed its weekend home series with a loss against No. 13-ranked archrival Penn State Nittany Lions in just of a dramatic match at the RAC gym – 23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-27, 10-15.

|Despite putting in an impressive first half display and registering 21 bench points on the night, the George Mason University women’s basketball team suffered a lopsided home loss, falling 71-55 to Colonial Athletic Association rival James Madison University.
Senior guard Rahneeka Saunders was the only player who scored in double figures for the Patriots (6-11, 1-5 CAA), registering 14 points and eight rebounds. Saunders was supported by reserves junior Janaa Pickard and senior Melissa Collier, who each scored nine points.

|The George Mason University women’s basketball team defeated the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers by a narrow 58-55 margin at the Patriot Center in Fairfax on Sunday.
The Patriots’ attack was once again led by senior guard Rahneeka Saunders who led the team in scoring with 16 points. Saunders, who came in yesterday’s match off a 33-point, career-high game against Drake University last Saturday, also registered three assists.

|The George Mason University women’s basketball team handed the University of Maryland – Eastern Shore Hawks a lopsided 64-38 loss at the Patriot Center Tuesday night.
Senior guard Rahneeka Saunders scored a game-high 13 points, led the team with four steals and registered two assists to help the Lady Patriots (1-1) pick up a fifth win in as many meetings against the Hawks.
