|The Mason men’s basketball team lost to Oklahoma at the Verizon Center on Sunday in the BB&T Classic, 81-66. Bryon Allen led the Patriots with 15 points, while Ryan Spangler, Cameron Clarke and Buddy Hield each posted a double-double for the Sooners in the game with a combined 33 rebounds and 47 total points.
USF defeats Mason men's basketball, 68-66
|The Mason men’s basketball team lost to the University of South Florida at the Patriot Center on Wednesday night, 68-66. With the score tied at 66, Corey Allen Jr. hit a fade away jumper with two seconds on the clock to seal the victory for the Bulls. Sherrod Wright led all scorers with 22 points. Bryon Allen contributed 14 and Marko Gujanicic tallied 11.
Okoloji suspended for his conduct in USF game
|Mason men's basketball head coach Paul Hewitt has suspended Anali Okoloji for "conduct unbecoming for a Mason student-athlete."
In Wednesday night's men's basketball game against the University of South Florida, Okoloji received a technical foul for stepping on a USF player.
"Anali's actions in Wednesday's game were inexcusable and not what we expect from a George Mason student-athlete," Hewitt said.

Fenwick extends library hours for finals
|In preparation for final exams, Fenwick Library will be testing new extended hours. From December 8 to 17, Fenwick hours will be open longer than usual. From December 9 through 12, the library will be open for 24 hours, and again on December 16 and 17. The library is hosting the new service to offer students reading days to study for finals.

Mason men's basketball defeats Rhode Island, 61-54
|The Mason men’s basketball team defeated Rhode Island on Saturday afternoon at the Patriot Center, 61-54.
Jalen Jenkins posted 11 rebounds and five blocks, while tying his career-high in scoring with nine points. Sherrod Wright tallied 16 points, and Marko Gujanicic had 13 on the night. Bryon Allen added 6 assists, but ended the night with only six points.
“I know that every night I’m not going to score and make every shot,” Allen said. “But I tried to keep my defensive energy going.”

Mason men's soccer season ends with loss in second round of NCAA Tournament
|Mason men’s soccer team finished its run in the NCAA tournament, as the Patriots lost 1-0 to the University of New Mexico in the second round on Sunday night. A late goal by junior midfielder James Rogers in the 83rd minute materialized the dominance the Lobos exerted throughout the game.
