Bowers, Yoo elected Student Government presidency, vice-presidency

The George Mason Student Government Elections and Disputes Commission announced that Allyson Bowers has won the position of Student Body President. Her runningmate, Jacky Yoo, will be the Vice President.

This announcement was made at noon in the JC Atrium on April 7. A complete tally of the votes will follow shortly.

Before the conclusion of the race, one of the candidates, Michael DeMatteo, had his ticket removed from candidacy for "extreme misconduct in the form of a threat" as determined by the EDC on April 6. Connect2Mason reported on this story here.
