Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has talked extensively about illegal immigration, and has publicly said that those who employ illegal immigrants should be punished, encouraging strong policies against cities within the United States that serve as sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. He also has emphasized the need to keep Americans safe, to confront radical jihad head-on, and advocates for Iran to be cut off economically and diplomatically for its leaders threats of nuclear war against Israel. He also hopes to encourage Arab states in the Middle East to join efforts to stop the Palestinian terror campaign and recognize Israel's right to exist.
