Free Screenings, Massages, Prizes at Health Expo

Students gathered in Dewberry Hall from March 26-27 to claim free t-shirts, massages, health screenings and other prizes at the 12th Annual Health and Fitness Expo.

- Missed the expo? Your second chance drops by Mason's Prince William campus on April 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bull Run Hall Atrium.
The event featured about 80 exhibitors ranging from Great Harvest Bread Co. and Zumba Fitness to Mothers Against Drunk Driving and the Center for Advancement of Public Health.
Attendees were also granted the opportunity to undergo the following free health screenings:
- Blood pressure
- Cholesterol
- Body Mass Index
- Vision
- Diabetes
- Dental
- Skin assessment
- Nutritional analysis and counseling
The event was sponsored by Kaiser Permanente. Members of the expo committee were also a part of Mason's Student Health Services, College of Health and Human Services, Dining Services, Alcohol Drug and Health Education Services and Intercollegiate Athletics.
