Men's Soccer Wins CAA Title

Well, it appears there is another team besides the men's basketball team that will dance on in to the NCAA Tournament at George Mason.
The Mason men's soccer team became the second #3-seed to capture a Colonial Athletic Association conference championship since March after they defeated the Northeastern Huskies 1-0 in Wilmington, NC, Sunday afternoon.
Mason (13-6-2) scored the lone goal in the 38th minute when senior Lucas Pardew sent a cross to senior Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe, and he beat the NU goalkeeper from five yards out. The goal was Adjeman-Pamboe's ninth goal of the season and his eighth goal in the last seven matches.
Adjeman-Pamboe was selected as the CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player. Other Patriots on the all-tournament team were Richard Edgar, Jonathan Borrajo and Eber Martinez. Mason earns the auto-bid by virtue of capturing their fifth conference tournament title and will play in next week's NCAA Tournament.
