Student Government executive hopefuls state cases ahead of April 2 voting [VIDEO]
If you haven't taken the time to know who is running to represent the student body through Student Government as student body president and vice president, scroll down below for quick videos of each of the three eligible tickets. Each was given an opportunity to discuss who they are and why they're running ahead of this week's voting.
With the removal of Michael Jordan and Donald Garrett's ticket, Alex Williams and Jordan Foster are on the ballot for student body president and vice president against Liam Hennelly and Moe Ahmed. Gabriel Levine and Ellie Shahin are also running as the only eligible write-in ticket.
Last week there was a debate in which the executive candidates, those running for student body president and vice-president, participated in a question and answer session. Those listed on the ballot were able to participate.
For those of you who weren't able to attend, Connect2Mason ran live video of the debate, and the videos are now posted to our YouTube page.
A total of 33 candidates are also running for SG's student senate.
Connect2Mason recently met with each of the executive candidates and provided them an opportunity share a bit about themselves, and give you a chance to get to know them better.
The Mason Nation can vote on the executive and senate candidates via CollegiateLink starting on April 2 at 12:15 a.m. Voting closes on April 4 at 12:15 a.m.
