Pumpkin Makeover

Just a reminder to everyone, we're having the Extreme Pumpkin Makover next week! The following is just what was sent out on Wednesday to AVT students.

This is just a friendly reminder that it's time to get into the Halloween spirit! And what better way to get the ghouls howling than a pumpkin decoration event!

This October, AIGA will be hosting its annual Extreme Pumpkin Makeover Contest! It's time to test your skills and creativity to win the title of Mason's Pumpkin Makeover Extraordinaire (and an brand new iPod Shuffle!)

The rules are simple:
1) You must utilize a pumpkin somehow or someway in the piece, either it be an image of one, an actual one, a fabricated one, ect. Draw it. Mash it. Cook it. Create it. Decorate it. Mutilate it. Whichever. As long as you create something utilizing a "pumpkin."
2) You may use whatever material you can think of. Sky's the limit! Be creative and just go crazy with it.

The deadline is Monday, October 27th at 10:00AM in the Alcove Gallery.
The actually judging will be taking place on the following day, Tuesday October 28th at 5:30PM in the Alcove Gallery. But don't just come to the judging because we'll also be holding a mini-reception at 4:30PM for people to mingling and chat. During the reception we will have voting for People's Pumpkin Pick, so please stop by and vote for your favorite.
