Wizards Pep Rally canceled, Tip-off to go on as planned

Due to inclement weather, the Washington Wizards’ Pep Rally scheduled to take place in President's Park tonight has been canceled.

The pep rally had been scheduled for 10 p.m. as a lead in to the Midnight Tip-Off event being held at the Patriot Center tonight.

The Midnight Tip-Off will go on as scheduled and doors to the Patriot Center will open at 11 p.m. with the event beginning at 12:01 a.m.

The event will be free and open to the public, and will include player introductions, an open practice and giveaways. There will also be special incentives offered to Mason students.
