Exam week schedule changes, all in one place

Along with final exams and the impending finish to the semester, there are several schedule changes during finals week students should be aware of. C2M sheds light on changes affecting the university community.

The university will be closed Dec. 24 until Jan 2. 

Shuttle Services

West Campus

• West Campus Express shuttle service will conclude on Friday, Dec. 17 with suspended service until regular schedule resumes on Jan. 23.

Campus Circulator

• Dec. 17 will also be the last day the Campus Circulator shuttles will run. Regular schedule resumes Jan. 24.

Gunston Go Bus

• The Gunston Go Bus will run Dec. 17 and then suspend service for winter break. The Go Bus will resume its normal schedule on Jan. 21.

Fairfax/Prince William

• There will be one bus departing at 6:30 a.m., Dec. 14 – 21, to Prince William, accommodating 7:30 a.m. finals on that campus.
• There will also be late departures that week leaving at 10:25 p.m. The final day of regular service will be Dec. 21.
• Beginning Dec. 22 – Jan. 21, an abbreviated schedule will have two buses with beginning departures at 7:00 a.m. and final departures at 7:00 p.m. Normal service will resume on Jan. 24.

Mason to Metro

• There will be no Friday late night or weekend service beginning Dec. 18.
• The last day of regular weekday service will be Jan. 21. Dec. 22 – 23, last departures will be at 7:00 p.m. Jan. 3 – 20, final departures also at 7:00 p.m.
• Late night Friday and weekend service resumes on Jan. 21 and regular service resumes Jan. 24.

Johnson Center Computer Lab

• The Johnson Center Computer lab will be open 24 hours Dec.14 – Dec. 16.
• On Friday, Dec. 17, the lab will close at 10:00 p.m. The lab will re-open from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18.
• Twenty-four hour scheduling resumes Dec. 19 – Dec. 20. The lab will close at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 21 and will have operating hours between 9:00 – 5:00 p.m. Dec. 22 – Dec. 23.

Dining

Burrito Del Rey will be closed Dec. 13 – Dec. 23.
Chik-Fil-A will be closed Dec. 18 – Dec. 23.
George’s will be closed Dec. 13 – Dec. 23.
Gold Rush will be closed Dec. 18 – Dec. 23.
Ike’s will be closed Dec. 17 – Dec. 23.
Pilot House will be closed Dec. 17 – Dec. 23.
Rathskellar will be closed Dec. 18 – Dec. 23.

Libraries

Fenwick Library

• Fenwick Library will be open 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Dec. 13 – Dec. 16.
• Friday, Dec. 17, Fenwick will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m and Saturday, Dec. 18, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 19, Fenwick will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. and Monday, Dec. 20 from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 a.m.
• Dec. 21 – Dec. 23, Fenwick Library will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Johnson Center Library

• Library will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Dec. 13 – Dec. 16.
• Friday, Dec. 17, the library will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 11: 00 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 18, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 19 the library will open from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.
• Monday, Dec. 20, The Johnson Center Library will be open 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. and Dec. 21, 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
• Dec. 22 – Dec. 23 the library will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
