Tuesday, March 27 What it is: Student Government is hosting the fourth annual academic advising expo this week, where advisors from all academic departments will be available to answer student questions and give out any advising they might need. Here’s your chance to sit down with an advisor, no strings attached. Oh, and did we mention that by meeting with your academic department at the expo you can enter to win a free one-semester parking permit or a fast pass to skip the lines at the upcoming Mason Day? Where: Johnson Center Dewberry Hall, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. |
Tuesday, March 27 What it is: Hosted by the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (SCAR), this discussion will cover the contentious and topical issue of reproductive rights through the sharing of viewpoints and an exploration of the political impact of the issue. Why it’s our pick: According to SCAR’s website, this should be a chance to “wade into the deep waters of ethics and rights in real time,” and be an opportunity for some real thought provoking discussion on a controversial topic. Where: The Hub rooms 3 & 4, 7 – 9 p.m. |
Wednesday, March 28 What it is: Counseling and Psychological Services is holding this workshop to help students be prepared and “test-wise” for their next exam.
