[PREVIEW] Mason looks to avenge a double-digit home loss earlier this month to Northeastern in tonight's meeting

Tonight is one of the biggest games for the Patriots this season against conference foe and top-ranked Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. After a frustrating loss at home by 10 points to the Huskies earlier this month, Mason will have to go on the road to avenge the loss against one of the most balanced teams in the Colonial Athletic Association. The Huskies are on a wave of momentum---currently on a seven game win streak, including three of those at home. To go along with that, they have four players who average double figures in points and force there opponents to the turn the ball over 15 times a game. Here's a look at some of the Huskies that Mason will have to keep tabs on throughout the contest. 

Top Returners

Joel Smith -- Senior -- Guard

Leading the Huskies in scoring (16.7 points per game), assists (58), three-point percentage (40 percent) and free throw percentage (89 percent), Smith is a multi-skill player and extremely efficient. Mason will need to keep him under wraps by putting Sherrod Wright on him and forcing him into making difficult shots, which is no small task. 

Jonathan Lee -- Senior -- Guard

At 13.4 points per game and 4.4 assists per game, Lee is an effective guard for the Huskies who can facilitate the offense with tremendous court vision. After missing the start of the season with an injury, he has asserted himself as a key cog in the Northeastern offense. 

Key Additions

Zach Stahl -- Freshman -- Guard

Stahl has shown signs of potential, adding 6.1 points per game for the Huskies in only 18.2 minutes per game. Against Mason in the last meeting between the schools, he had a career-high 15 points while shooting 62 percent from the field and 2-of-2 from behind the arc. Mason has to not take him for granted and contain him when he's on the floor. 

David Walker -- Freshman -- Guard

Along with Stahl, Walker has been a solid contributor for the Huskies this season as a freshman. He's responsible for 4.9 points per game, leading the team in steals and tied for second on the team in assists (44). Walker is a three-point threat (39 percent) as well as being a great on-ball defender and can shut down an opponent's offensive game.
