Asian Pacific Heritage Month Events This Week

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month continues this week with three exciting events.
The APAC Speaker Series will continue today at 5 p.m. with a surprise speaker. The speech will be held in SUB 1 Room C. It is sponsored by the Asian Pacific American Coalition.
Japanese film critic Michael Jeck is coming to the JC Cinema on Thursday at 6 p.m. The Department of Modern and Classical Languages and the Center for Professional Exchange in Washington, D.C. present The Three Villages of the Hidden Fortress, a Japanese film by Akira Kurosawa. A discussion with Jeck will follow.
Join the Vietnamese Student Association on Saturday night for Vietnamese Cultural Night at the Robert E. Lee High School Auditorium. The night will consist of dances, skits and other performances. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m. "It will be an exciting adventure and a true learning experience for all," according to the Office of Diversity Programs and Services.
