The Ballerina: It's No Swan Lake

Editor's Note: These daily positions are meant to inform. Don't continue to read if you're uncomfortable with gritty details... or stuffed animals in strange positions.

Been slaving away at the gym? Those yoga classes will come in handy for this bedroom tango.

In this standing-up position, the man should plant both of his feet firmly on the floor (ground, grass, wherever you are!) and support the woman in any way which will best help her keep her balance. Get ready girls: while keeping one foot on the floor, raise whichever leg is most flexible up to your man's shoulder so that your foot points just past the point where his ear is, approximately. You may need to bend the other knee slightly to help you do this vertical split, and make sure you evaluate your height differences before something gets stuck and both of you are... well, screwed.

Have your man enter you this way for deep penetration, which will provide stimulating and different sensations for both of you.

Some tips from ballet: posture is everything when keeping your balance. Lift your diaphragm and suck your stomach in as if your belly button were pressing internally towards your back. Lift your shoulders and keep your back as straight as possible — it may feel like you are leaning forward slightly — that's normal.

Should you get sore, try a warm bath together to soothe those muscles and, if you're really up to it, you can even get it on in the shower. Stretching before you do the deed is also your best prevention against harming yourself.

Your mom doesn't need to know that you only learned one or two things from those ballet classes she made you take when you were a kid.
