By Connect2Mason Reporter Kyle Ridley

Alanis Morissette's dynamic fifth album “Flavors of Entanglement,” due June 10, is a no holds barred marathon chronicling the devastating demise of a relationship and the hopeful resurrection post rock bottom.

Opening track "Citizen of the Planet" poetically details Morissette's life journey through world travels and rocks a chorus so commanding, you can't help but get amped for the tracks to come.

Mario Kart Hits the Wii

By Connect2Mason reporter Daniel Sims

With every new generation of Nintendo hardware comes a new iteration of each of Nintendo’s franchises. Most of the time each sequel is justified simply by the presence of more capable hardware, but in many ways Mario Kart Wii feels like Nintendo is just going through the motions.

The game created here successfully applies the Wii’s ideology and technology to the Mario Kart franchise, but the end product isn’t as impressive as past entries like Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart DS were when first released.

Given the circumstances that surround the draft, the event sounds like a can’t-miss event for NFL fans to witness live, right? One would think so, being that so much emotion is exuded from the fans present at Radio City Music Hall at every draft — you know who you are, Jets fans.

Patriots May Have Lost Chance At First Ever CAA Title

By Broadside Staff Writer Will Scullion

For George Mason University women’s lacrosse team, giving up a last minute goal was a bitter way to end their Colonial Athletic Association title hopes and their best season ever.

Mason (12-5, 5-2) lost 8-7 to Towson (12-5, 5-2) Friday night in the semifinal round of the CAA tournament on the campus of William & Mary in Williamsburg.

Throughout the entire game, neither team led by more than one goal.
