Incoming cold weather shortened the second leg of the double header to seven innings, but it yielded another 1-0 Mason win.

Third Basemen Blaise Fernandez put the Patriots ahead in the first inning with a line drive double into right-center field. Josh Leemhuis came around to score after he had walked earlier in the inning. This was a pleasant surprise from the game before where it took until the 6^th inning for Mason to plate their first run. However, a couple of double plays ensured that this would be their only run in the game.
