Mason Women’s Soccer Holds UMBC Scoreless

The George Mason University women’s soccer team took on University of Maryland, Baltimore County Retrievers Tuesday night. The Retrievers were winless coming into the match and were winless going out. The Patriots took care of the match by scoring three times in the second half.

While the George Mason University baseball team had a record-breaking season last year, Shawn Griffith was the odd man out.
Five of the six Mason players were selected on the second day of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. Griffith, the last one, fell to the 37th round after being chosen on the third day by the Toronto Blue Jays.

The George Mason University Baseball team fell to Binghampton University 11-6 on Saturday after the team's defeat by the University of South Carolina, 11-3, on Friday. These losses mean that the Patriots are now out of the NCAA Tournament and their season is over.
Mason Baseball Gets At-Large Bid to NCAA Championships

The George Mason University Baseball team received an at-large bid to the NCAA 63rd Annual Division I Men's College World Series. The Patriots, which won over 40 games this season, was eliminated last week from the CAA Championships after loosing to UNC Wilmington 5-3. The NCAA, however, found their record worthy enough to be invited to the tournament.
