Taking the torch from the Sochi Olympics, Mason wants you to bring home the green and gold for Homecoming Week. With friendly competitions, blocks parties, and a variety of special events, you have plenty of accessible opportunities to express your Patriot pride every day this week.

Baird delivers crowd-pleasing anthem

With almost 9,800 pairs of eyes pointed his way, Jordan Baird, junior music major and walk-on for George Mason University’s basketball team, opened the Homecoming game with the national anthem.

Homecoming theme altered to be ‘not so focused on Disney’

The Homecoming planning committee has reconsidered its original and already-publicized Disney-styled theme after conversation with university legal counsel, according to an associate director of the Office of Student Involvement.

Students compete for title of Mason Majesty

Students strutted their stuff on stage for their chance at the Mason Majesty title this Monday evening. Candidates went through formal wear, trivia, personal questions and talent segments, and were cheered on by their fans and friends.
