Students compete for title of Mason Majesty

Students strutted their stuff on stage for their chance at the Mason Majesty title this Monday evening. Candidates went through formal wear, trivia, personal questions and talent segments, and were cheered on by their fans and friends. 

This is the second year of the gender-neutral title. In 2009, Ryan Allen won the Ms. Mason title in the former Mr. and Ms. Mason competition as his drag queen counterpart Reann Ballslee.

Voting for this year's Mason Majesty began on Tuesday at 9 a.m. and will end on Saturday at 9 a.m. To vote click here or check your Mason e-mail inbox for instructions.

Mason will crown their next Majesty on Saturday at the Homecoming Men's Basketball game versus Old Dominion University at the Patriot Center.
