GMUnit, the university's two-year-old men's a cappella student group, has a new title to add to their growing list of accomplishments: Homecoming 2011 talent show champs.
The group was one of 14 entries in Tuesday's Wizard of Oz-themed talent show, "If I Only Had Some Talent." Donning sleek black and green and gold ties, the men won the competition by singing a cover of Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours."
The song featured member Derick Elmore as the soloist. (View the full performance)
Other performances included a piano cover of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" by Auggy, a country song by Susan Bilodeau and a hip-hop performance by Mason Majesty contestant "V."
Patricia Muench, another canidate for the title of Mason Majesty, performed a hip-hop/breakdancing routine alongside Michael Cashill, Khiry Brothers, Luke Milligan and David Sok.
