Patriot Platoon member talks infatuation with tiny pieces of paper
As a precursor to every home basketball game, some members of the Patriot Platoon diligently tear programs into pieces of confetti. They unleash tiny pieces of paper into the air in stoms of jubilation when the team scores.
To some, this colorful shower is silly, but this is a long standing tradition of die-hard George Mason Basketball fans.
Mason fans are already ripping away in preparation for Men's Basketball vs. Northeastern game on Feb. 24.
